We are looking for a GIS operator for environmental screening on the development of new projects for the production of renewable energy in Italy.

As a GIS Designer,  the candidate is going to carry out the following tasks:

  • Identification of the applicable European, national, and regional regulatory framework for a given design solution in a specific territorial context, aimed at evaluating the expected interactions and/or interferences with the planned interventions.
  • Support in a GIS environment for the study of project alternatives and optimization of the locational choice of interventions through multicriteria analysis.
  • Preparation of project cartographic documents, including territorial frameworks, analysis of the protection system, specific plans for expropriation and servitude, and intervisibility analysis.

The candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Knowledge of software in GIS environment. Required level : 8 out of 10;
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation and key sector plans in order to conduct territorial and environmental constraints analysis of photovoltaic and/or wind power plants. Required level : 7 out of 10;
  • Predisposition to learning and studying norms and laws in the field of environment, urban planning and energy.
  • Preferable Degree in environmental, energy or architecture engineering, and photorendering software (Revit, Photoshop)
  • Preferable diploma from surveyor;
